Oral Appliance Therapy, also called a Mandibular Advancement Device, is a small, acrylic mouth piece that works to manage sleep apnea in three ways:

  • Reposition the lower jaw to prevent collapse of the soft palate
  • Stabilize the lower jaw and tongue
  • Increase muscle tone of the tongue

By advancing the jaw foward the entire time you are asleep, the airway is maintained allowing you to breath with fewer to no apnic events. The result is a long-term treatment option for SNORING, UPPER AIRWAY RESISTANCE SYNDROME, and SLEEP APNEA that is less instrusive for you and your partner and refreshing sleep that enables you to feel awake and alert throughout the day.

  • Better patient compliance
  • Aesthetic and comfortable: it is discreet, light, allows a good diction and can be worn at school.
  • Physiological: gentle propulsion due to the integrated coil-springs (TMJ protection).
  • Universal: it is indicated for all facial typologies.
  • Multi-functional: 4D harmonizer, it allows several simultaneous actions, sagittaly, transversally, vertically and functionally, saving treatment time.

Studies have found Oral Appliance Therapy to be most effective in managing mild and moderate obstructive sleep apnea with over 75% of patients reporting succes.
